Eveil combines experience from large global organisations and venture-backed businesses, corporate leadership and market-building roles, and work across Japan and international markets.
The result is familiar. A market looks larger than it is, or smaller. A partner looks committed when the commitment is nominal. A regulatory position looks like an obstacle when it is routine, or routine when it is genuinely an obstacle. Decisions get made on a picture that is not wrong so much as thin.
That operating perspective shapes how we approach strategy: not as an abstract recommendation, but as a decision that will eventually have to work in practice.

The two halves of the firm are deliberately sequenced. Understanding comes first; recommendations follow from it, and are worth no more than the understanding beneath them.
Evidence before opinion
We separate what is established from what is inferred, and say which is which. Where the evidence does not support a conclusion, we say that instead of reaching for one.
Judgment, not just synthesis
Reading Japanese sources is necessary but not sufficient. What makes the reading useful is having operated in the market the sources describe.
